KERAMA MARAZZI’s new collection, like all the previous ones, is

designed and manufactured in cooperation with Russian and Italian de-

signers and artists, including the outstanding Italian ceramics artist

Franco Сalise.

The craftsman’s works that have become the possession of private

collections and interiors and have been manifested in multiple public

places – parks, gardens, streets and squares – on the Amalfi Coast,

and the islands of Ischia and Capri, now decorate several sets of

KERAMA MARAZZI ceramic tiles. This creative alliance has contributed

special charm and unique local flavor to the new collection in signor Сa-

lise’s original and talented interpretation.

Franco Сalise, an Italian ceramics artist, lives on

the west coast of the island of Ischia in a town

called Forio. His majolica studio is situated in Ma-

rina Street near the Church of San Gaetano.

Franco Сalise about ceramics:

«Long ago I fell in love with ceramics and decided to

follow this life path. Although sometimes I feel that it

was not me who chose ceramics, it was ceramics

that chose me…»

Franco Сalise about art:

«My formation as a ceramics artist was greatly influenced

by oil painting. The acquired experience helps me work

more with a brush, mix paints and choose necessary

colours, in other words, to do what others do not…»

Franco Сalise about KERAMA MARAZZI:

«I am overfilled with emotion! Every artist dreams about

their works being present in various parts of the world. The

KERAMA MARAZZI company gave me this opportunity.

For me it is a starkly new level of my art…»
